The ‘Conversations with God’ series of books authored by Neale Donald Walsch and God, presents their dialogue with the original trilogy kicking off on Easter Sunday, 1992, and finished six years later, and the Book 4 installment being released several years later in 2017. Neale poses questions about the truth about us and God on many levels, our purpose on earth and so much more! If you think you loved God before reading the books, after reading just one of the books, you will love God all the more and realize how much God loves us, forgives us and is anything but a source to fear. You will also love yourself and others more and approach many aspects of life with a clearer, deeper understanding.
When Neale began the exchange with God, he was feeling down and out, with failing relationships and career. One night he woke up in a fit of anger and while sitting in his living room, started railing against God, writing an angry letter to God and asking many questions of God. He was shocked to hear God answer: “Do you really want an answer to all these questions or are you just venting?”.
Neale then began receiving answers and statements, via automatic writing, and transcribing all he heard on yellow legal pads for the first three books and later switching to a computer to record what he heard. In creating these incredible gems of knowledge, understanding, unconditional love and a view of God which which enlightened millions, he has shared one of the most important works relating to God of all time. To say the words Neale recorded is life-changing is a huge understatement.
Conversations with God, Book 1: An Uncommon Dialogue
Published in 1995, Neale Donald Walsch’s introduction to Book 1, states: “This book addresses most, if not all, of the questions we have ever asked about life and love, purpose and function, people and relationships, good and evil, guilt and sin, God and the road to hell…everything. It directly discusses sex, power, money, children, marriage, divorce, life work, health, the hereafter, the before now… everything. It explores war and peace, knowing and not knowing, giving and taking, joy and sorrow. It looks at the concrete and the abstract, the visible and the invisible, the truth and the untruth. You could say that this book is “God’s latest word on things,…”
‘Conversations with God, Book 2: An Uncommon Dialogue – Living in the World with Honesty, Courage and Love’
Also published in 1995, Neale’s introduction to Book 2 describes the book as: “It is a message from God, and in it God suggests a social, sexual, educational, political, economic and theological revolution on this planet the likes of which we have never seen, and seldom imagined.”… “I find the words in this book at once captivating, disturbing, challenging, uplifting. They are captivating in that they catch my breath with the scope and sweep of their reach. They are disturbing in that they show me to myself—and the human race to me—in a way which is very unsettling. They are challenging in that they put the dare to me as no one and nothing ever has before. The dare to be better, the dare to be bigger than I have been, the dare to be the Source of a world in which anger, petty jealousy, sexual dysfunction, economic inequity, educational tomfoolery, social inequality and political secrecy, chicaneries and power plays are never again part of the human experience. They are uplifting in that they hold out the hope that all this is possible. Can we really build such a world? God says yes, and that all it takes is for us to really choose to do it.”
‘Conversations with God, Book 3: An Uncommon Dialogue – Embracing the Love of the Universe’
Published in 1998, Neale’s introduction to Book 3 states that this book: “touches on the fastest way to wisdom, the five natural emotions and how to use them as our friends, and the nature of psychic ability. Also in this volume is a discussion of the origin of the myth of Satan and a wonderful clarification of the nature of time and how all things are happening at once.”
‘Conversations with God, Book 4: Awaken the Species – A New and Unexpected Dialogue’
Published in 2017, Book 4 is meant to do just what the title says: ‘Awaken the Species’ on earth and share knowledge meant to expand our view of our personal and collective future. God answers such questions as: “Is the human race being offered help by Highly Evolved Beings from Another Dimension?” and “Is there a key role that humans are being invited to play in advancing their own evolution by joining in a mutual mission to assist the planet during the critical times ahead?” Also in Book 4, God reviews 16 specific examples of how Highly Evolved Beings behave.
‘Friendship with God’ – An Uncommon Dialogue
Published in 1999, ‘Friendship with God’ records Neale Donald Walsch’s continuing journey with God and how we can grow our own relationship with God who is with us always, who loves us unconditionally and is our friend rather than judge. Neale’s words encourage us to connect with God on a deeper, and stronger basis, void of fear and rich with love, trust, and true and very real friendship. This book opens us up to tuning into God’s love and words.
‘Tomorrow’s God – Our Greatest Spiritual Challenge’
Published in 2004, Neale Donald Walsch’s, ‘Tomorrow’s God – Our Greatest Spiritual Challenge’, continues our transformative journey, delving into deep spiritual truths that challenge long-held traditional beliefs and dogmas and embrace a more inclusive view that broadens the way we view ourselves and our relationship with God. It helps one transcend the religious boundaries we have known and adapt an empowering vision of God as loving, supportive, and accepting, as it explores the true purpose of life and what is behind the nature of suffering. As we recognize the power of our thoughts and intentions, we are encouraged to abandon fear-based beliefs and embrace true spirituality, love, compassion, and unity of all of humanity.

One reason is Jeff himself. He is an excellent host in that he introduces the guests and just lets them go uninterrupted until they finish their story unless he feels he must clarify something with a question or confirm a point made by other guests. Once they are done relating their experience Jeff starts his list of questions and comments which is a refreshing change from many hosts who interject with their own opinions and comments throughout the interview. Jeff is an enlightened being and the podcast is not about his own ego but rather the message his guests are conveying.

Edgar reported that it is not what goes into the mouth but rather what comes out of it that defiles the body and spirit, meaning we must be careful about what we say and think, as this brings us down on many levels, including the physical. Get to know the readings to learn more along this vein. You will be glad you did.
He was very big on the importance of keeping the body in a proper alkaline/acidic balance, stating that we should be around 80% alkaline and 20% acidic, when these days, with our diets of processed food, full of starchy, sugary food and animal products, we are often the exact opposite. He said a cold could not exist in an alkaline environment and that acidosis (an environment that is too acidic) is the basis of many diseases and ill health.
